Ok, this post has nothing to do with Anna and the King of Siam but it does relate to Sharon’s post on online relationships. Getting to know people online is different from meeting face to face but if you read what someone has written, and then communicate with the writer, you are getting to know them - or at least a part of them.

Advice and Support

I have found that online friends, writers and bloggers may not be able to offer a shoulder to cry on, but they are  more than willing to share what they know and to reach out to  a  writer who is going through it. If you blog and write on a regular basis you will probably find, as I have done, that most people are genuinely friendly and caring. Online relationships may differ in many respects from offline relationships - but even those are not all the same. If you are around the blogosphere for long enough you’ll soon find that it is possible to become part of a vibrant online community. As with any relationships these need a little help along the way but that is all part of the fun of getting to know you.

One Response to “Getting To Know You”

Sharon is a good writer. I’ve followed her blog for a long time. I have found that most people who work on the net are friendly - much friendlier than those in the ‘real world.’
